Friendly independent store with fresh local produce.
I always get my produce at Golden Choice. Their products are labelled so you know exactly what you're buying and where it comes from. You'll find a lot of produce grown locally on their shelves, especially in the summer. They've recently added a smoothie bar that also preps fresh salads and dips.
It's much cheaper than shopping at the supermarket and your money goes towards a friendly local business. In these times of hardship for independently owned businesses (due to soaring rent costs and proliferation of global chains), it's crucial to support a place like this. Plus, you'll save on groceries and gain in quality. -

This market used to be my go-to for fresh produce, but after the management change I agree with other recent Google reviews; produce is often wilting or literally rotten. I now walk further to Aria Market; they are locally owned, have great prices, and have really fresh produce!

Hidden gem! Stumbled upon this grocery store/juice bar. Genius owner decided to make their own fresh pressed juices, smoothies and even packaged salads. You knows it's the real deal. And it's all delicious. Conveniently located near to beach too. Highly recommend!

My go-to for fresh produce in the West End, great prices AND if I'm starving while shopping I make a healthy choice and get a protein smoothie (addictive!!) Thanks GC for being awesome neighbors!
